With Burke staying the Ducks can now focus on the future.  Now we have to resign Perry as some other team will sign him and give up picks and money.  Then Niedermayer and Selanne will announce they will retire leaving us with more money to sign a couple of other role players on offense.  I still think we can compete, but we will not be as dominant, a new role needs to be formed, with less stupidity for untimely penalties.

You guys also need J.S. Giguere on top of his game. He just didn't have the same aura about him in this year's playoffs like he has in previous years. But the team's core is still young with Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, and Bobby Ryan potentially breaking out.
