You dont give up a guy who could be a premiere run stuffer for a decade.  The Rams would be idiots to make a deal like that....I dont care how banged up their O-line was last year.

Interior defensive line strength can make a team.  Look at the Bears D of two years ago.  Tank Johnson and Tommie Harris led them to the Super Bowl.  Last year, Tank was gone and Harris was D-teamed and the Bears came back to the pack .

Dorsey can and will dominate at the next level.  Whoever gets him gets probably the best prize in this draft.

Wrong.  Rams should jump on this deal.  Move down to 10th pick overall and get an stud tackle that can play both sides with no signing bonus counting against your cap.

With the 10th pick you package it with a 3rd round pick and move up to number 7 and take Ellis from USC.  A small drop off (some have him rated higher than Ellis) and you shore up 2 needs for your team and only give up a 3rd round pick to do it.

Win-Win for the Rams

The Rams should jump at this deal?  There is a reason they're trying to shop this stud pscyopathic tackle.  And there is no guarantee, let alone any reason the Patriots will swap with the Rams 7 for 10.

I agree Dark. Rams stay in top ten plus get more picks and possibly more. Plus the Saints get who they want, so its good all around. Dorsey will be a home town favorite, plus he has the skills to come in and make a difference.

Dorsey said he wants to come here, so why not try and get him? How often do people actually say they want to play for the Saints? Lol. It's not that often we hear it until that person is already here.

Here's hoping. Lets go get him Saints!

I'm a Saints fan saying that Jammal Brown is a stud. he's our best Offensive lineman we've had in a decade and he's only played for THREE years! That says a lot. He got hurt right before the season started, and it looked like that bugged him for a while. It's a win-win situation. He would dramatically help out Marc Bulger and bring a better run block for Steven Jackson. I say.. why not?

There is a reason they're trying to shop this stud pscyopathic tackle. You are right, there is a reason the Saints would be willing to trade Jammal Brown.  That's becasue they drafted Jermon Bushrod last season and Zack Strief the year before.  Bushrod is 6'5", 315 lbs, and Strief is 6'7", 320 lbs.  Strief was also counted on to step in for Brown last season when Brown was battling some nagging injurries.  The line didn't miss much of a beat.

I agree with Dark, too.  The Rams can get a quality, young tackle and still draft in the top 10.  Yeah Dorsey could help them, but It's not like the Rams are one pick away from the Super Bowl.  They need help at multiple positions and this is a great opportunity to fill two needs.

nvm. dont do this. let's just go after Sedrick Ellis. I love Glenn Dorsey, but the only way the Saints should consider doing this if we trade JB and a 2nd rounder for their pick. straight up. he's one of the best players in football. dont do it.

The Rams have no reason to accept the trade right now, they can wait til Sat. afternoon and hear the offers come in, but if the Saints through in a 2nd, then you can bet it's a done deal, until then and IF, then the Rams will just sit back, listen to the offers and hype up Dorsey, they can still draft Dorsey and trade him when the Saints are on the clock.
