I got some ideas of the many options the Skins may have. Wanted to share them and see if you guy have some of your own.

Option One: After working out Malcolm Kelly with Jason Campbell throwing to him, they draft Kelly and take their chances on Merling dropping into the Second Round. If he is gone which he more than likely will be then they take a chance on Calais Campbell in the second round and not waste a first round on him.

Option Two: If, and that's a big if, Matt Ryan is drafted before then Ravens, we offer our first rounder to them so they can get a good QB and take their second this year and first next year or even seond next year because if they wait to the second round to get a QB, Jets, Chiefs, Dolphins and Atlanta (two picks before the Ravens) all pick in front of them and needing QB's after Henne and Flacco go they will probably not find a QB to compete with Smith and Boller and the Ravens will struggle again. I think we can get some good compensation from Ravens who need a QB now!

What do you guys think!

If Merling is the best defensive end available, he will likely be the 21st pick by the Redskins.  If he is gone, it is almost certain that Kelly will get the nod.  It was reported that Jason Campbell was impressed with the routes and passes thrown to Kelly by him and stated he would be happy if they drafted him.

I see them looking to trade down as the first option.  Possibly going with a high second rounder and that teams third rounder.  I would like that.  We could then get on CB like Brandon Flowers with the first second rounder and then a DE like Chris Ellis with the second second round pick.  The first of the third could then go to a WR like Jordy Nelson.  The second third could go to an OL like Roy Shuening and the last third would go to a safety like Zbikowski.

discuss my options with the many fans at Fedex this weekend at the Draft party. Look for the black male with a white tee and redskin hat and belt buckle. Here's to a productive Redskins weekend.

Peace
