Smart decision by Lawson.  It gives him two more months to see if his draft stock rises.  I hope he stays, but I definitely understand his decision to declare but not hire an agent.

Obviously, I am biased, but I think he would be a steal at the 28th overall pick in the draft, especially if he continues to develop his jump shot.  You can't teach blazing speed.

Exactly spizzle, exactly. I think it was smart for both of them to test the waters, if its only for the added exposure and peak into what the NBA will be like for both these kids. I think Ty is further along in his progression than Ellington, IMO, so I think Ellington is a higher probability of coming back for his Junior year while Lawson is a wild-card and his draft decision depends on how well he performs in the pre-draft camps. Lets hope for the best and wish our guys the best too! GO HEELS!

I like the fact that neither Ty or Wayne have hired agents. I'm thinking that this is because they just weren't satisfied with what information Roy was able to acquire for them. I'm hoping both of them return, but honestly, I would rather have Ty back and Wayne go. Ty is one of the fastest guards I've ever seen, and if he works on his jumper a little more he'll be amazing. Wayne on the other hand, while doing some impressive stuff throughout the season, including the game-winner at Clemson, gets off his shot way too easily. He'll go cold and become a non-factor quicker than anyone else on the team (except maybe Thompson, but he's really improved). I really just think he needs more work before he's ready for the next level.

If Lawson does decide to go, I'm glad we'll have a healthy Bobby Frasor again next season. Remember, he was playing out of his mind before he was injured last season, and hopefully we all remember the magic of the 2005-2006 season.

Don't know if anyone has seen the video, but I saw Bobby sitting on the bench and hitting shots at the Final Four practice. If he can do that, just imagine what he'll do when he can run again.....
