I agree Ty and Tom, it will be great watching Tyler take JJ off the record books, baring any injuries (*** literally knocking on wood right now!!!). TH is a beast and we're lucky to have him back for his senior season, lets hope our other two boys have fun testing the waters in the pre-draft camps but decide one more year in the end! I posted the below on the joint thread about all 3 players:
I'm ecstatic that Tyler decided just to come back and not test the waters in the draft. The key about Lawson and Ellington is that they haven't gotten agents, so they will likely both come back unless they perform much better than expected in the NBA draft camps. I think we can have more confidence that Ellington will come back because he needs to develop his shot off the dribble and work on better passing. Lawson is the wild card, as he could have a stellar draft camp performance and really boost his stock in this years draft. The way I see things will turn out are that Lawson ends up having a great draft camp and eventually goes in the draft this year but Ellington will have an OK performance and decide its better to come back for 1 more year. I hope thats enough for us to get back to the Final Four and win the Title next year! Maybe I'm wrong about Lawson, but he's further along in his progression than Ellington IMHO, and I think if he does well in the draft camp then he should probably go. I wish them both the best as they've been a tremendous joy to watch the past couple of years! GO HEELS!!!I hope I'm wrong about Lawson, but I think he goes if he has a good draft camp, while Ellington likely comes back, just my opinion though. GO HEELS!
