Good bye lightning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread is for two reasons.

1. Thank god the season is over. Hockey is a terrible sport that is worse than watching MLS soccer. It is really bad.
2. I love the new ownership. At least, I love what I think they're doing. I believe that Coolis or poolis or w/e his name is, is trying to move the team out west where he is from. I love that move. Hockey again, is a terrible game and just needs to leave. I think that this gives Tampa room to move the Rays there or hopefully, get a basketball team.

Well, that's my opinion. I hope the team leaves and never comes back.

I have seen some of your other posts, most of which are asinine, but this is over the top. If you think hockey is a terrible sport, than you probably know nothing about it. At least realize that tons of other people in Tampa love hockey and it would be a devastating blow to the city to lose the team.

Also, the Rays are never moving across the bay. Just frickin' drive over there.

Finally, I hate the NBA, but if Tampa ever got a team I wouldn't selfishly wish that it were taken away just because I didn't like it. Grow up, man.

You call yourself a sports fan.  You are obviously stupid to say that Hockey is a bad sport.  How long have you been a TB sports fan?  I have found that you have to have a higher intellect to appreciate Hockey and obviously that is your problem.  Hockey is great and it's not going anywhere. The NBA wouldn't draw in Tampa.  We had a CBA franchise years ago called the Tampa Bay Thrillers and it couldn't draw.  Why would you want your community to lose a franchise??  That would be horrible for the whole TB Area.  Why would you want to hurt the TB area???  You are an idiot and I am sorry to have you on board as a Bucs fan.  Why don't you leave town and never come back.  I'm sure you are a "bandwagon Buc" from the last 10 years. I've lived in St Pete for the last 25 years. Considering that's how long ago I was born. Hockey does not take that much intellect to like. It's a pretty simple game. 5 guys and 1 goalie try to put the puck in the other net while keeping it out of theirs. It's the same as soccer. Hockey and soccer are basketball without scoring. BTW, how can you compare the CBA with the NBA? Again, Tampa Bay would'nt be hurt all that much from the Lightining leaving. The forum is the top concery venue in the United States.

Also, how long have you been a lighting fan? since 04?

   Its very sad to see your lack of support.  In fact, to come on here and post your thread blasting the hockey team tells us alot about your level of tact and intellect.  But trust me, Im not biased against people like you, I actually feel sorry and would like to help.  Its clear that your post was made to draw attention to something.  Is it you, is it the team, is it the city of Tampa?  Who knows, only a good psychiatrist could answer that question.  I suggest you find one...  Thanks

Why is it bad for me to not suppour the lightining,when people (i'm guessing you too)  have wanted the rays out of here for the longest time.

Anyway, If you look at the moves the new guy is trying to make, it's pretty obvious, he ain't really planning on staying here.
