If not it is likely that he will come back, it has been a month since he declared and usually if your in it for good you sign an agent off the bat.  Maybe he's just testing the waters, if he is then maybe he'll come back slightly better than he was last season.  But dont get your hopes up just yet, this is Donte Greene where talking about.

He hasn't hired an agent yet. One of the Syracuse posters said that Jim Boeheim advised him not to hire one.

For what it's worth. Mike waters from the PS sited several "inside sources" that the only way he would come back is if he heard he would drop out of the first round.

Those same sources from Mike Waters of the Post, Said It was just a matter of time before Donte hires an agent.

"he'll come back slightly better than he was last season.  But dont get your hopes up just yet, this is Donte Greene where talking about. "

Your not serious are you... Greene is 6'11" and played like a man-child for his first year in D-1. Averaged 17 points and near 10 rebounds in a Big East league full of talent.

Were not talking about Winfred Walton here, were talking about a lottery pick with another year or two under his belt.

The question won't be if he hires an agent as much as finding out what he pulls as a GPA as this year ends. If he pulls and Anthony with the 1.18, then he will grab an Agent and we will see this happen in the next 2 weeks I would guess because finals are going on now...

I would love to have him back... I think they do not have a shot in the top 20 without him unless one of the frosh steps up and turns in a year such as he did.

They could make the top 64 but it will be hard without such a flyer. Look at the talent that couldn't get there two years ago...

Donte Green shouldn't sign an agent because he wasn't as good as you think he was this year there were some games where he didn't do anything and then some games where he was a beast.....I think that he should come back atleast one more year because that would tell him if he really should go to the NBA early....and plus if Donte comes back Syracuse has a big chance at going deep in the tourney again...theyd have basically the same lineup except with devendorf and routins now and that would make them even better and more experienced

He had a good season, NOT a great one. Donte Greene has great potential and would be a lottery pick in another year or two. But right now he is not ready. He cant play defense. And he hoists too many 3-pt shots. And he will be skinny compared to the NBA competition. I think he will be drafted late 1st or early 2nd round and we sit on the bench for a couple of years. Declaring for the draft is a mistake. Good Luck Donte, 'Cuse could have used you and helped you develop into a star. Peace.

I would not mind seeing him come back. He also is probably the worst defensive player on the team and ducks away from guys going hard down the lane. No post game other then using his height for some inside jumpers or leaners. Great range and athleticism but he is just plain greedy if he stays in the draft and doesnt come bak to hone his game. Guys want cash  and no rules and homework but in the long run that quick cash usually leads to a quick exit.

I think he's lazy at times, I recall him running down the court to catch the guy on the fastbreak and then he would just stop and watch the guy layup or dunk the ball when he could have blocked the shot easily. I don't recall him blocking a lot of shots either. Quite frankly, I think he was just a stud to this team and I think they will be better next year.

He had 57 blocks in last year. Averaged over a block per game. You sure you were watching Syracuse Mens Basketball???

Goat, you're a complete embarassment to the Syracuse fanbase.

I can see why everybody here never agrees with you, I was saying he was lazy at times. He would stop on the fast break when he had a legit shot of swatting the ball away. He just stopped to watch the player lay it in the hoop. Somebody that's 6'8" should be able to block more than 1.6 blocks per game.

And yes I did say 6'8" as the NBA scouts have him listed at that height.

"I dont recall him blocking a lot of shots either"

That is a direct quote form you moron.

http://www.nbadraft.net/ listed at 6'10' there bud.

Kevin Love who is a legitimate big man averaged 1.4 blocks per. A guy that plays down low much more than Donte did didn't average more blocks than Donte. Anymore retarded statements you want to make??
