Really? For drafting a #3 and #4 receiver and a back up tight end?
Okie dokie.... guess they're fine at Safety, OL, DL, LB.

no they get an A for taking the best graded players at the time of their picks. They ended up with 3 1st round grade players and t of the top 3 (if not the top 2) WRs in this draft.

I'm nearly too stunned to type anything coherent. Thomas Boswell, Washington Post columnist said it best: Never Deviating From the Draft Board.
Seriously. The Redskins had a piss-poor draft - AGAIN - and ding-songs like Prisco fall all over themselves licking DannyBoy's feet? Pathetic. How long you been on Snyder's payroll, Prisco? I thought we had Matt Millen drafting for us, what with all the receivers. But even HE didn't take one. That's because we got them all. Cerrato can definitely be called a genius for his picks, but qualify that; genius spelled with a 'J'.

They got the top TE, they drafted the second WR right after a questionable Rams pick. And a steal in Malcolm Kelly. Those are two of the top 5 no question WR's and they did all this in the second round, paying second round prices a brilliant trade down. Those WR will play # 2 and 3 behind Santana Moss (maybe Randel El) Both of whom are injury prone. A great draft for the Redskins. Did i mention that there average height of their receiving core went up 3"'..?

Didn't they get the number one rated receiver, the number one rated tight end, and the number one rated punter? That sounds pretty good to me.

The Mail Demon:
Just another example of a fan who hates Snyder/Cerrato to the extent that nothing they do will ever be given credit - even when it's obvious it was done well.
They got ridiculous value out of their draft, and if you don't think WR was a need, I guess you didn't notice the Skins picking up guys off the street last year to play start at WR during the year after their "super mites" got hurt, predictably.
In addition, what do people want? You can't address WR/DE/DT/OT/S/ILB/OLB/CB and the waterboy in one draft. When you have that many needs, you take the best value/best available, not reach for an overvalued DE just so you can say you addressed the DE position.
They Skins did a good job, and gave their rookie coach an impressive cache of weapons to work with in his new offense. Unfortunately, there are many fans of Washington who will NEVER give the front office credit as long as that "greedy little Jew" is the owner.
Get past it.

Wow. Playing the race card unprovoked? Neat trick.
It was obvious Snyder/Cerrato did something well. What they wanted. Not what the team needed, however. While I agree that it’s nice that we got the guys we ‘wanted’ and got extra picks too, I just don’t understand why we wanted them in the first place. Sure, one big receiver is good. Two is overkill at this point. However, everyone knows that grading wide receivers is nearly impossible. Case study of Rod Gardner. Tight end? Whatever for? The D-line is hurting, and punters are available for rookie free agent signings. We got one offensive lineman. We could have used two. I imagine that in implementing Zorn’s West Coast offense it’s necessary for more receivers, but seriously, no one has any real idea if his system will work. We’re going to end up with Michael Westbrook and Rod Gardner and Steve Spurrier as coach. Our defense is going to be run/passed all over. The only way we’ll win is if we outscore teams forty to thirty; if the defense can hold opponents to only thirty and the existing offensive personnel can make up for the youngsters who won’t pan out.

Maybe we could avoid the anti-semetic comments, or referencing other people's anti-semetic comments?
