UCLA has been suffering with these two often injured QB's since they got to UCLA!  I felt Cowan played better the last few years, but each is as fragile as a plate of China!  UCLA needs to move on to a more healthy crop of QB's.

It'd be nice for UCLA if it were that easy. I don't think anyone could have ever predicted this type of thing. Everyone has to deal with the injury bug from time to time, but this is insane.

No sympathy here. I am a BYU guy and don't really care if Olsen succeeds or not. I don't want him to get hurt though (seriously anyway). We play UCLA next year early and so if they have to have a walk on play QB it wouldn't hurt my feeling. I don't care much for pretty boy Rick either.

After watching the Bruins spring game, it appears that Kevin Kraft the one that would lead this team to the promise land.  he looked shaky at first but looked comfortable the as the game went on.  Too bad for Cowan.  Get well BRUIN.....

Man this is like taking candy from a baby! I can' wait until Sept 1! Well if we shrink the field and put two hoops on either end and only allow five players per side it could be close!!!!! Okay maybe not and with the idiot coaches UCLA has it is not fair! Maybe we should spot them 21 to make it close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahaahhahaha

Oh man.  Just one more piece to a puzzle that really does not bode well for UCLA for the upcoming season.  They are very much going to be in a rebuilding mode, but I think that they are in for a good run in a few years.  With Norm Chow and Rick Neuheisel at the helm, they should be able to recruit very well, especially at the quarterback position (just look back a few years to see what Chow was able to do with Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer).  Hold tight Bruin fans, greener pastures are on the horizon.

I do not think either QB is the end all. That being said, experience is usually better than a first year qb. Forcier or Kraft has their opening, let's see who can step up. I am rooting for Forcier, he has great leg speed and we need a mobile guy back there to have a chance.
