Should Lions try to get Rhodes

No. We're all set at the position now. We cut talent in Kevin Jones, who made $2.5 million. And we failed to sign T.J. Duckett who only wanted $1.5 million a year for 2 years to stay with us. What would we really expect to offer Rhodes?

The only reason I would see us signing Rhodes, is that Rhodes played with Tony Dungy, a good friend of Marinelli's.

<p> Lets face it our failures in the last few years are really starting to hurt us in the way of the cap. We can't afford top talent via the draft we have to take the non top ranked players.</p>

<p> with that said I, while not impressed initialy, think we got a group of players this year these guys are not pampered players these guys are the grunt it our in the trenches type of guys.</p>

I like kevin, I hate you tube!< but i went out to a few of the videos linked thru out the forums here and liked what I saw and the commentators are really excited about this guy I would love to see him be the starter . Bell i still have a bad taste in my mouth from what he did not do last year but I sat stick to what we have and let the trenches win out.</p>
