to worry about this instead of building a good team. The Eagles are an embarrassment to the NFC east where all other teams have at least 3 super bowl championships!

An embaressment. Really?
In the last decade they made it to the Super Bowl, and four NFC championship games. What has Washington done this decade? Or even Dallas?
(I've got nothing against the Skins, in fact I prefer them to most teams.)

Soooooo....they shouldn't sue over the $770k that was awarded to them? If someone was delinquent with your $770k, I'm sure you'd be a little peeved as well. TO is the deadbeat here.

What kind of money you make is no difference. $770k is $770k.

Wait. Actually it's not in this instance. It's worth more. More than the attourneys fees even. When they get paid that money goes to cap relief in order to sign/resign players. It's kind of a big deal.

Get out your checkbook, TO.

to worry about this instead of building a good team

Instead?  Can they only do one?

Do the Eagles have Andy Reid and his coaching staff working around the clock reviewing case law and drafting court documents and preparing arguments?

i certainly wouldnt pay 1mill in attorney fees to recover 3/4th of that

They're paying $1 million in attorney fees?  Did I miss that in the article or did you pull it out of your a$$?

Your second statement shows you realize the Eagles have attorneys to handle this - meaning it won't be a distraction for football operations.  This makes your first statement even more nonsensical.

cf, I simply cannot see where you are coming from here at all. It doesn't matter who the player is and who the team is. Your logic is twisted.

He is the one that took monies not owed to him.

He was the one that wanted out

He was the one that signed the contract and then didn't want to live up to it

He was the one that lost his case

He was the one the judge decided owes.

He is the one that is delinquent

The team is of no fault here. They simply want to recoup what they can and deserve in the cap room area.

jcvg...still smarting from feb 3rd huh? its a dumb move for any organization to spend money to recover 3/4 of a million $. I know what attorneys make and i venture to say they will spend at least that to recover this amount.
