Drew,
Good luck to you and all the other Hornets fan.
I'm done with why this team or that team is gonna do this or that better than the other person.
I'm just gonna let my Spurs do the talking for me.
May the best team win.

Basically, can the Spurs match the athleticism of the Hornets?
I'll give you that, but when was the last championship team the most athletic? Lakers.... Not with Shaq, that was just Kobe.(athletic part)
Dallas got 80% of the calls as well so we are used to having the real 6th man against us anyways.
Already building an excuse.......

Are you serious?? Like I said in a previous post, I like the Hornets chances if this is what you count on. Suns are good, yeah, but tough, NO?? They are afraid to foul. The Hornets are not. And Duncan is not a tough guy. He is just like Dirk but plays better D. After every play he looks at the ref and then pulls out his passafire, complains and then inserts passy right back....
If you read my post, it won't get to us needing 3s. You won't be able to keep Parker from scoring in the paint and you won't stop Duncan. Hey, your right; the Hornets do have a chance of winning this series. It is just like the chances of it snowing in Hell. Like I have told others who have hated on Duncan, I'll take him being what you percieve him to be as long as he keeps bringing in the Rings.
It's nice to see that you are a real fan of your team and I see that you are100% behind them, but It is funny that you are talking smack after ONE good season. Regular season at that, get some skins on the wall or better yet some Championship banners before you go on the other teams' board and pop off.
Good luck to the Hornets, they will need it.

Wylie..
let's not get too cocky my man.
leave that overconfidence to the Suns fans.
This Hornets team is legit. They scare me more than any team left in the playoffs.
But you are right...
Tony Parker will get in the lane and score. But, that will be more of a help on defense believe it or not...
Hopefully, ego will then get a hold of CP3 and he starts trying to one up TP by scoring every time.

I could see the Spurs winning in 5 games but i think they will win in 6. Hornets won't have an answer for Ginobili or Duncan. Its going to be a great matchup between Parker and Paul though.

**Like I have told others who have hated on Duncan, I'll take him being what you percieve him to be as long as he keeps bringing in the Rings. **
Your right... If somebody like Duncan was bringing rings to an organization/city that I represent than I would accept him as well. But, ridicule/hating also comes with success.... You would do it to if you were on the opposite side as well.
**but It is funny that you are talking smack after ONE good season. Regular season at that, get some skins on the wall or better yet some Championship banners before you go on the other teams' board and pop off. **
Are you afraid of alittle sports discussion?? Your right we don't have the rings.... We also don't have 40 years of existence!!! Think about it.
Your right, the Hornets will need alot of luck and alot of things to go there way. I've never denied it. The Spurs and Duncan are great and have built somewhat of a dynasty. But you would be a cocky fool(cocky yes, but fool you are not. "yoda talk") to think that this is going to be an easy series.
Good luck Spurs and its fans!!!! Hopefully we can discuss more sports in the future.

Never said it would be easy, but a win none the less.
But you would be a cocky fool(cocky yes, but fool you are not. "yoda talk") to think that this is going to be an easy series.
I would define it as a confidence of 9 years of Championship caliber basketball and a winning tradition that has lasted for as long as I have been a Spurs fans. (1976)
You would do it to if you were on the opposite side as well.
I'll give you that one, I would hate on the team; but not the player. I can acknowledge greatness in a player. To call out Duncan on his complaining to the refs..... Magic, Bird, and yes even Jordan were always crying for calls. So to have that as a complaint, Duncan show be proud to be in that class of players.
Good Luck again to the Hornets.

New Orleans will never have a long run of excellence as long as Shinn owns the team. Look no further than the team he owned in the early 90s in Charlotte that had Larry Johnson, Alonzo Mourning and Kendall Gill. Had he not been such a little weasle and had the wrong management in place, that team had the possibility of becoming a serious threat to the Chicago dynasty with another piece or two. Charlotte fans despised him and Wooldridge so bad that he couldn't even show his face at the games during the Hornets' only serious playoff run (lost to Milwaukee who lost to Philly during one of the Lakers titles in 00 or 01). Had a revered hero in NC in Michael Jordan who wanted to buy into the Hornets but wormy Shinn was such an egomaniac, he couldn't accept someone else having any control. Off he goes to New Orleans where the franchise is already starting to falter until he runs into a couple of strokes of luck over the past few years. One was Katrina that enabled him to go to Oklahoma City. With the NBA wanting to present a concerned citizen image, they did everything they could to make sure the team successfully returned to New Orleans. Then the luck of drafting Chris Paul made for a good up and coming team. But just give Shinn time. He'll find a way to turn things sour. Sorry to be sounding like an arrogant person here, but I lived in Charlotte during those days and simply can't stand the SOB. At least I can lay claim to being a Spurs fan since the drafting of Tim Duncan because of my allegience to Wake Forest as a catalyst, but I ain't a band wagon fan coming on board after the fact once the championships started to roll in.
GO SPURS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
