The Chiefs should send Al Davis a letter personally thanking him for allowing them to have such a great draft.  Al Davis not taking Glenn Dorsey essentially kick started the Chiefs great draft.  By drafting Dorsey at #5 they didn't have to worry about D-Line for a few rounds and with the #17 pick they could pick any lineman available (which they had to trade up for).  Then the rest just fell as they may.

I 110% agree.

Davis had Glenn Dorsey on the board when he was picking, A GIFT from heaven, and he had to pick a RB which makes like 6 RBs on the Raiders.

Take Dorsey out of the equation and we'd be talking about someone else here.

Who thought Davis would take Dorsey? Once Long was gone everyone knew what he would do... The Chiefs had a good draft, but your a moron if you thought Al (who has a strong rep for drafting speed) was going to take Dorsey...

The title has a typo...

lmao, Al Davis would've taken McFadden even if he had the #1 pick.

There was no doubt in my mind as I watched the draft, he wasn't going to trade, he wasn't going to pick anyone else other than McFadden. Good for him, and even better for US!!!!!
