He's gone... just like one of his pitches that actually finds the strike zone... and then the pavement 50 feet beyond the outfield fence.
I'm not so sure he could have gotten that last out in Chicago the other night unless the Cubbies just got tired and fell asleep at the plate. ... oh, wait. Then he'd still have to pitch half of the balls over the plate and we know thats not going to happen.
I do wish Derrick well getting things straight and coming back. He's a talented kid, but has just totally lost his confidence over the last year.
