ya know this would be a great opportunity for one of those unsigned top 100 players to choose IU this year.If they're gonna be gone in a year or two anyway and want to showcase their talents for the NBA what better place to do it then a bigtime program that has only 5 or 6 players? Sure you won't challenge for the NCAA title, but they could come and get all kinds of playing time and shots.I would rather do that then go sit on Carolinas or Kansas bench half the season.

No problem for Sampson

As the Indiana program crumbles to pieces, Coach Sampson signs a contract to be an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Coach Crean has his hands full, but give him a couple years and Indiana basketball will be back on track.

They actually lost their best recruit, Devin Ebanks, because Sampson was fired.

Although he is supposedly still considering IU, no one in Bloomington is expecting a commitment from the wonderfully talented wing.

Boy, it is sad to see the shambles and wreckage left behind from President Brand.  It appears that dumping Bobby Knight was not a wise decision as the program was continuing to win, a 100% graduation rate and no NCAA sanctions or recruiting violations.  Well it appears that Coach Knight and his family were the clear winners here and unfortunately, it appears that Indiana was the big loser.  Hopefully Coach Crean will get the program back in the right direction, but it will be difficult.  On a side note, it does show who was loyal to the program as Knight was fired, within a couple of years, Brand jumped ship to head the NCAA.  Kind of interesting I say.....  Can't imagine that regardless of the "witchhunt" and criticism of Bob Knight, he would have never left the program if not forced out.  Too many, it appeared that Coach Knight needed to move on, but looking back on things now, it appears that Brand is the one who needed to go and that Knight should have been the one to stay.  On a better note, Good luck Indiana and Coach Crean.

He needs to call Bob Huggins, who maybe can help him a little on the juco hunt.
