again another thought out statement from the axeman...lets think about this does it hurt me to say that i'll have to wait till september no because I will haev a team in the stanley cup finals baring a huge collapse from the pens.

he not only complained right after the game (which was on fsn so it really wasn't just the local channel they were showing the entire interview) but the next day he came to the pulpit again and openly complained again about the officials...I guess you don't need to think strategy when it comes to hockey you just complain about the refs as a coach and that means your doing your job.

and good one when in doubt just take a comment out of context and try to insuolt the person personally.

You still haven't answered my question on how does all this giev the pens an "established" history of being dirty.

I don't think they get preferential treatment, I just think they have more experience being sneaks and incorporating agititation into their strategy, and are therefore better at getting away with it.  If I could find a way to skate 5 of my guys on 4 of yours, I would do it everytime I could.  If the Flyers could get away with it, and it got me a parade, I would love it.  Bobby Clarke was dirty son of a bitch, and he got the cup for my parent's generation...   but they openly admit this.

Just don't sh*t in my sundae and call it hot fudge, dude.  Or say guys are "diving" face first into boards, that opposing players are head-butting your elbows, or that waving your arm withing a 8 inch vicinity of someone causes them to reel backwards and splat on the ice like a sack of potatoes.  Hatcher is not a Jedi, and this ain't our first rodeo.

We have as much right to complain about sh*tty calls as you do the right to celebrate the players responsible for them.

"Already looking ahead to the Phils......Sheesh, it's only 2-0...you could come back.

Man you Philly fans sure are fair weathered.

Disgusting."

Not conceding anything. If they lose tonight, it's over, though. That assessment has nothing to do with being "fair weathered" either. That's called being realistic. What, have two teams in NHL history come back from 0-3?

But hockey ends soon enough and you guys have to wait till September for big league pro sports to return to town. Sucks to be you.

It was just a joke. But, being that your avatar probably reflects how you look -- wearing a helmet around all day -- I'll forgive you for not catching on to that.

I live in Reading and I see alot of Flyer games.   I am a big PENS fan.   I agree that Richards is a tough character.   But the is NO WAY he drops the gloves with Big George.  Laraque is not like most fighters.  He will cause SERIOUS damage.   If Richards decideds to pump up the crowd by fighting Laraque he will be watchiing game 4 from the press box.   He can't hit George hard enought to hurt him.  It would be a blood bath.   That doesn't take ways from Richards as a player but don't think for a second he is going to drop the gloves with George...EVER!!

actually the forearm to the back of the head I was refereing to was not in the playoffs and it was during the next to last game of the year for the pens...I would like to say I agree they are apples and oranges...hartnells was much dirtier the play was well over and he came in with a forearm to the back of his head when he was already starting to get up...and guess what no penalty...again my point is those things happen and don't get called all the time...there is only 4 officials on the ice and 12 players..and I could really have sworn that you said if that had happened to a pens player we would be yelling for blood or suspension which implies malkin should be suspended I also remember you saying that he should have gotten a suspension because your players got suspensions for less than that...if you didn't I'm sorry must have been someone else who said it but your comments were very similar.

"The refs have always been horrible that has always been a complaint of the nhl is that the refs are bad."

Yeah, as Flyers fans we know. See: Leon Stickle, 1981 Stanley Cup Finals.

Sorry for calling you "stupid."
