"That's what ticks me off about Chicago fans and Chicago media, they forget pretty quickly," Guillen said, punctuating his outburst with a healthy dose of vulgarities.
He bemoaned the fact that the Cubs are considered the "best" in Chicago even though they haven't won a World Series since 1908, dropping F-bombs along the way. He fears his team will never get respect "no matter how many World Series we win."
Ok Ozzie right there is y the white sox get no respect. Like you most of ur fans worry too much about what the Cubs do vs. ur own team. Every White Sox fan I know says that the White Sox have been better than the Cubs for the past 25 years. Before 2005 how is that true? Before 2005 the white sox went to the playoffs in 1983, 1993, and 2000. The Cubs went in 1984, 1989, 1998, and 2003. So that is one more, and yes they won the world series that was good for the city since we havent had a championship since 1998. the reason y most people dont care about the 2005 world series is because we are cub fans. there are more of us in chicago, illinois, the united states, and the world than there are white sox fans. we dont care about the 2005 season because we are cub fans and we worry about our team no the white sox. the only time i pay attention to the whitesox is in spring training, the postseason, and if i have someone on my fantasy team from the whitesox and that is it. other than that i could care less if they are in first or last. so maybe just maybe if u white sox fans would quit worrying about the cubs or the cub fans maybe ud get respect.

So Jimmy if you don't care about the White Sox why did you write a long winded essay about them, shouldn't you be on the Cubs board worrying about your lousy team.
The respect the Cubs get , I wouldn't exactly call respect aren't they known as the loveable losers and their fans blaming all the losing on a goat and Bartman. I love when all cub fans say " we were five outs from the World Series" what does that mean, getting their and winning are 2 different things. Just ask the Astros and Rockies. Do the Astros and Rockies fans say we were 108 outs away from from winning the World Series, I'm just asking? It's one of the dumbest things I have ever heard, I still hear it " we were 5 outs away" let me clue you in that means you were 113 outs from winning the series. I hope that makes you feel better.

Chisox u just proved my point. Worry about your own team. The five outs thing was top 8th in game 6 and one out five more outs and the Cubs would of won the NLCS. I posted this because Ozzie typical sox fan, you typical sox fan. O and have u heard of this guy called JoeBuck4life who keeps proven that he is obsessed with the cubs and what they do. You people are jealous and cannot figure out y the White Sox are the 2nd team in the 2nd city. There are more Cub fans than there are White Sox fans. What dont u get about that. Before 2005 the White Sox hadn't won the World Series in what 86 years. You guys acted like that never happened. The fact is that when you ask regular people about what do you remember the most about the white sox is not that they won the world series in 1906, 1917, or 2005. They are going to be remembered for being the only team to Throw the 1919 world series and having 8 players being thrown out of baseball for life. I personally think that Cubs and Sox fans shouldnt be talking crap about each other. In over 200 years of baseball both teams have combined for 5 world series championships and that is pathetic. The Yankees have won 26 and we have a combined 5. So quit worrying about the Cubs, and worry about your own team. O and for you tellin me to get off the whitesox post y dont u take ur own advice and do the same. Ive seen your comments on plenty of cubs post. No one outside of whitesox fans and ur division worries or cares about the whitesox. Ive been out of the Country a few times and Ive never seen whitesox merchandise. Ive seen Yankee, Red Sox, and Cubs gear, but never white sox gear. Hell I use to go to Eastern Illinois and my freshman year the White Sox won the world series. The only sports store down there had one tshirt that had white sox world series champions. other than that there was cubs, Cardinals, bears, and rams gear.

Ozzie is the greatest coach of all time in any sport. The White Sox are the greatest team of all time. No team compares to us, and they never will. On the other hand the Cubs are the worst team of all time, and Lou is the worst coach of all time. Lee is overrated, and so is Rameriz, and Fukudome sucks cuz he has squinted eyes, and any team that has a japanesse player should be kicked out of the league cuz all japanesse players r overrated and they suck. The white Sox never had one cuz we have standards. As for the Cub fans you all are losers just like your team. Your team isnt even in first place unlike the White Sox. We are the greatest team in the AL and the best team in the AL. GET THAT THROUGH UR HEAD. AND AS FOR OZZIE'S COMMENTS WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THEM? HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING BAD, AND HE SHOULD GET THE KEY TO THE CITY OF CHICAGO. OZZIE IS A SAINT AND I KNO THAT EVERY SINGLE WHITE SOX FAN HOPES HE SIGNS A LIFETIME EXTENTION WITH THE GREATEST TEAM ON EARTH. I KNOW THAT CHISOX AGREES WITH ME. I post once in awhile, i'm not a regular, but I usually respond to Cub fans on White Sox Posters, not on Cubs posters. I live in Chicago, of course i'm going to hear about the Cubs n Sox all the time. Yes, I know Sox are the second team in Chicago. Good for you that you never see White Sox merchandise outside of Chicago, congratulations. You are officially named the new White Sox inspector of merchandise through the country.(ask the Cubs to pay you).
You are proving to be a typical Cubs fan with your we almost won the NLCS, like I said no one remembers who won the NLCS they only remember the Champions, Dude get over it, 5 more outs are you kidding me, to make you feel better let's just say Cubs won the NLCS who cares, it wasn't the championship, unless maybe you think winning the NLCS is the world series, since Cubs haven't won either since well you know.
Let's see White Sox are obsessed with the Cubs but you actually make a thread about the White Sox, hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I see u all the time on Cubs post not every once in awhile....2nd more people will remember the cubs being 5 outs away from goin to the world series vs the White Sox winning the 2005 world series cuz no one gives a damn about the whitesox outside there fan base....i made a thread because ur idiot manager makes yet another comment about the cubs......cuz he is a typical whitesox fan just like u....i never heard any cubs manager complain about the whitesox when they are not even playin them......u sox fans act like the cubs r in ur league....this might give u some comfort.....the cubs will never win the al central, or the al east or the al west....they r in the national league.......o and as for the bartman thing any fan would be pissed about that event...and if u look at the photo one that hasnt been modified u can c his arms over the wall.......and besides bartman didnt cost the cubs that game alex gonzales did when he dropped the inning ending double play......that is what gave florida the opportunity to score 8 runs that inning....and if ur gonna keep bringin up the bartman thing how about i bring up the 2 idiot fans who jumped onto the field and beat the hell out of the Royals firstbase coach.....cuz that just shows the character of the white sox fans.....losers who beat a person up from behind cuz thats the only way u white sox fans know how to fight

You mean like the Cubs fan who tried to attack Howry last year but typical Cub fan got tackled by a 70 yr old usher, what a joke. He is lucky he didn't get there cause Howry would of stomped that Cubs fan ass, too bad that 70 usher beat him to the punch. I would of loved to see that Cub fan get his ass kicked, he should buy that old man diner for saving his life. Typical Cub fan cant run, Bartman proved they cant catch, what r they good for again.
Stick to your team buddy cause no one cares that you were 113 outs from winning the world series and Sox won as many playoffs games as Cubs did last year.
