alright let me start off by saying that i've spent two years in the reserves thus far, and i do own guns.

i own 2 desert eagles, a couple of sniper rifles, and about half a dozen rifles of different sorts. what do i use them for? i collect guns, and i hunt occasionally. i'm also a manager at a local pool store. so if there is a robbery nearby, that means that i'm an immediate suspect. i've read these articles about harrison and i believe in the first one the investigators, yes questioned him, and said immediatly that harrison was in no way implicated in the crime.

some1 want to tell me the evidence against harrison? anyone? its our right to own guns (legally of course) its the second amendment. you guys do know what those are right? you know those things that our country's servicemen die for so you can have.
see regardless of what the investigators say, these sportswriters write these articles to get a rise out of you and make you believe w/e they damn well please. hell i'm willing to bet that if there was a shooting in the same city as roger goddell happened to be in that weekend, it would take no less than two articles to capture you suckers.

now don't get me wrong your not all suckers, but theres a good majority that are.

so i say if harrison wants to own a gun, let him own a damn gun. if i recall he allegedly owns that gun. and i allegedly am the son of jesus christ. its a trick by writers, you can say w/e you want pretty much as long as you throw in "allegedly". don't believe me watch the news, they'll prove my point for me.

and one final point. if you dont like the second amendment or hell any amendment for that matter, you have the right as an american citizen to vote and change things around here. at least thats what i'm told, we can still vote to make a difference right? you want to change things dont sit at your computer and make threads about it. become active in politics.

and also to thebirds21; your right the second amendment was made 200 years ago, and thats about all you got right. we do have the highest gun death rate, but we also have a astounding amount of illegal guns in this country, so tell me if we make guns illegal then all the gun deaths will go down right. the same way as marijuana? the same way as prohibition?  you really should think more before you speak.

harrison is a man with strong moral character, these investigations will find nothing to implicate him, and everyone will be happy, until a crime happens within 50 miles of another NFL player

Yeah, and your guy 'of strong moral character' - his firearm was found to have fired six or seven shots (ballistic match to casings and slugs) and was found in a bucket at his place of business.  So, either your 'strong moral character' walked out of the bar with it, as some witnesses have alleged, or he lent it to someone for just such a purpose, or he was irresponsible and let it be stolen, at the least.

Maybe you  should think before you speak.  Brainiac.

And another thing, an amendment to the Constitution cannot be voted on by the people.  You might take a civics class or something.

Jules...Harrison isnt a man of high moral character.  He has gotten a pass from the media.  He has twice choked someone.  One was a 13 year old kid at the pro bowl who made the crazy mistake of asking him for an autograph.

How much are your Desert Eagles?  They are some bad a$$ guns.  50 caliber..and VERY serious.

Once again, another poster with a kindergarden reading comprehesion - A gun of the same model as one Marvin Harrison owns WAS found at the car wash. THE weapon found WAS the gun that fired the bullets found at the scene. HOWEVER ... there has been NO INFORMATION RELEASED that states that the weapon found at the scene WAS HARRISONS WEAPON. It is simply the same type of handgun, one of the most popular selling handguns in the world right now. So if a Honda Civic is invloved in a hit and run near my home, does that mean it was MY Honda Civic??? Seriously, you guys are making some intense accusations, at least you could spend the time to read the story thoroughly and make sure you understand what the FACTS are.

Peace ... Rog

Marvin Harrison had an argument with the shooting victim prior to the shooting.  He left the bar, then the victim was shot.  He was shot by bullets fired by a gun registered to Marvin Harrison and found at Harrison's business.  Barring some exonerating evidence, Harrison is going to be a suspect in this case very soon and may likely be charged.
