When does Arizona say goodbye to Lute Olson?

I say that Lute stays, he should leave when he is ready, not when anyone else does.  He is one of the best coaches ever and he deserves that respect.

I would have to say enough is enough.

Lute built the program - true enough . He's a hall of famer. He's one of the greatest.

But Arizona should not let  Lute wreck the program just because he built it.

Respect for Lute is one thing. He deserves all the respect he gets - and more.

Sadly, it's simply time to give Lute the big appreciation dinner.

Tell him he'll " always be a Wildcat."

But it's time to move forward into a new era, before things are so muddled, it'll take years to recover.

It's time to say enough is enough.

Lute is likely past his prime, but no one should tell him when to go. (Perhaps it could be suggested "softly".)

Lute will tell the UOFA when it's time to go.  Lute runs Tucson and he is not going anywhere.  If it weren't for Lute UOFA would still be the laughing stock of the country.  Saying that Lute needs to clear this up fast before he makes himself a laughing stock of college basketball.

I have followed Lute since he was at Iowa and he is a great coach. I hate to see what he is going thru at this point in his life, but he should step aside and let someone else take over now. He needs to deal with his personal issues and keep them personal, not play them out in a public forum. For his good and the good of the UA basketball program Lute should be shown the door, politely mind you, and move on to the next stage of his life.

"deal with his personal issues and keep them personal"

thats exactly what he did, it was the public that demanded for him to go public.

the public will always ask for details.

i doubt anyone forced Lute to call into a FM radio show. What exactly was he thinking?
