Has Florida State changed their name to Miami. Or maybe now they are the Florida State Cowboys instead of Seminoles. Their season is trashed and it hasn't even begun yet. Guns, assaults, academics, fights. Sounds like Tommy needs to either get a grip on his program or turn it over to Jumbo. Of course, I don't mind. It is good to see the Florida programs having their problems instead of their way all the time.

What you feel bad about you're self today? What did you do-slip up and have a cup of coffee and smoke a cigarette. Pick up an ACC Football guide before you start making fun of peoples names.

I guess its a big deal to exceed minimal standards. Not all schools, but many are so backwards these days, it is just insane. What happened to going to college for an education. When will these schools learn? Every dope you let in your school who doesn't graduate, hurts your school! Your academic program is why kids go to school, not sports. These bigs schools hurt there standings academically by letting idiots in to play sports. This school is a perfect example. Why put your schools rep on the line? The ratio of athletes to non atheletes is probably 2-3% at these schools. But some of those make your school look bad! I know most of these kids who go here are from instate, and it is not  a top tier school academically, but I wouldn't want to say I go or graduated from there, that's for sure!

Go Flyers!

I think this is excellent. That is, universities dropping these kids for this kind of behavior when it's criminal. The OT is going to juco to regain academic eligibility. Nothing wrong there with that. It's not a crime to make poor grades in school. But the cheating scandal and drugs/guns, that's on the student not the university. The beauty of America, people get opportunities, they are even allowed mistakes and errors in judgement. But sometimes the mistakes and error in judgement are beyond gross stretches of what society deems as acceptable behavior. Hanging the university for providing opportunities is wrong, I applaud FSU for being impartial in that regard, it's embarrassing for sure, but what can you do, these student-athletes can't be baby sat 24/7. When they mess up, let the wheels of justice turn, it all works out in the end.

You're calling me dumb? If you got your education from the U then I can understand it. Learn the english language (spelling, grammar). I know Miami has cleaned up its act (except for that minor scuffle they had that involved the entire TEAM). I'm just not emotionally involved with them good ol' boy teams down there.

Before you mouth off to someone about the english language learn yours.  Your first post starts a sentence with "or" after you have a period, nice grammar.  You make fun of the U, I'm sorry but it is one of the most respected university in the country and the thuggish football program supported a lot of the programs.  On a side note, the name you slipped on happens to be the winningest coach in division 1A so do not lay your sarcastic crap about a BCS conference and School in your post.  You made a mistake, you were called out on it so "adult up"
