Kobe Bryant is no doubt, a fine basketball player, but in my opinion, not the MVP of the NBA.  I think the award should have gone to Chris Paul.  The only reason why I even think he received the award is because this is his best opportunity to win one, being that his team won the Western Conference and all.  If that's not enough reason, just look at the stats:

Kobe Bryant:                                                                                                                                28pts/g                                                                                                                                    6.3reb/g                                                                             5.4ast/g                                                             1.84st/g                                                                                                                                     3.13TO/g                                                                                                                               1.73asst/TO ratio                                                                                                                              46%FG                                                                                                                                               36%3PT                                                                                                                                                84%FT

Chris Paul:                                                                                                                     21pts/g                                                                                                                                               4.0reb/g                                                                                                                                          11.6ast/g                                                                                                                                   2.1st/g                                                                                                                                     2.51TO/g                                                                                                                           4.50asst/TO ratio                                                                                                                         49%FG                                                                                                                                          37%3PT                                                                                                                                              85%FT

Bryant has him in points and rebounds per game.  Paul has him in assists, turnovers, assist/turnover ratio, steals, field goal percentage, three point percentage, and free throw percentage.

The stats don't lie!!!

Jaywill3. Kobe has been putting up great stats for years, but you answered the question as to why Kobe won and not CP3, KG, Clark Kent, or LeBron. You said:

"being that his TEAM won the Western Conference and all"

ROLLING.

Yeah sure dude! and in my opinion I think the gas prices should be a lot lower but I can't control the supply and demand laws. In my opinion, I think we should do something to better our planet and stop building so many WMD's and polluting but I'm not a politician or a world leader. In my opinion, we shouldn't go to war and kill so many inocent people but I'm not the president nor do I belong in the CIA to know what's really going on. In my opinion, we should stop ilegal immigration but who's going to work on our farms, or get the minimum wage paying jobs. What i'm trying to say in other words is Shut%^$*@**up and let the experts handle their business.
