You're right Jaime, did get caught up in the hype of how good Detroit has been playing. For once though, I am truly confident they can pull it out in a quick and easy (even though it won't be) fashion. Let's just hope that the Detroit team of the last few seasons doesn't come back to haunt us and they continue to play team hockey. Using their speed, finesse, and experience to their advantage.

LET'S GO Red Wings!!!

Yeah, good call Jaime.  As much as I want them to roll through this series, I know it's going to be a difficult road.  If the Wings keep playing the way they have been, then I believe they will take this series.

It's still early though, so lets not count our chickens before they hatch.  Just as the Wings do it, take one game at a time and don't underestimate anyone.

Being a Dallas fan I am not the happiest of campers right now but anything can happen.  Its still a young series.  I am not giving up but man my ass is still sore from that beating last night!

Lets hope that Dallas takes game two, that will put the Stars right back in it.  I wont wake up so grumpy the next morning either!

No trash talk is needed. Detroits game is doing the talking. They look destined for the cup. They have the talent. They have the depth. They have the goaltending. They have four lines rolling. But stranger things have happened in sport. Bet nobody here thought Buster Douglas would beat Mike Tyson either.

But if all things are equal and Detroit plays its game theres no doubt they are the best in the NHL. But for injury to 2 of thier top 3 D at playoff time, they were the best last year too.
