Can the Red Sox win 100 games this year?

Maybe I'm jumping the gun a little.  But after last night's win, the Red Sox are on pace to win 100 games this year.  It's been a long time since they have accomplished this feat, but this could be the year.  Can they improve 4 games from last year's WS winning team?

They won 96 games last year with Tavarez throwing 140+ innings.  They also didn't have Ellsbury or Buchholz for a full season.  Even though the Sox had the best pitching in the AL last year, they are certainly on pace to have the best hitting this year.  This team might be better than last year's version.

no pushovers in the East this year, maybe Baltimore eventually

TB, Toronto and the Yanks are good teams, dont see anyone winning 100 games

i do think the Sox win the division, but 100 games, my guess is no

I had to vote no because the AL east looks more evenly matched this year than in past years. It could happen... but chances are it will not for the same reasons 100 win seasons are somewhat rare especially when the division of the team seems pretty decent top to bottom.

I'd like to see the Sox win it with 95. If they do hit the century mark, i'm going to look pretty silly til the last out of the World Series on here because of an avatar bet. My part of the bet was i said neither the Sox nor the Yanks would get to 100...loser sports their team's pink hat for the duration of the playoffs...
