for depriving us of a Henin and  Williams rematch.  For her to knock off both these ladies means she must really be playing well.  Hard to image her picking on Henin's backhand.  Interesting ploy.  Serena still needs to learn how to compliment the winner when she loses.  Maybe she did since this is just a blurb of what was said.

I am glad her cockiness, Serena, along with her big mouth dad, won't be in the semis or finals. There is nothing gracious about any part of that family. The family tries to intimidate people by the rudeness they show at press conferences. I am glad she lost. 

None of the family ever gives anyone else credit for anything. They come up with the excuses that they didn't play their best and lose or some other condescending statement. This is only typical of their press conferences.

I totally agree.

As much as I like to watch Serena play, she NEVER compliments her opponent whenever she loses...EVER.

Safina is one of those darkhorses that I'm sure the person on the other side of net does not want to face in a match - she can beat anyone on any given day, just like her big brother was capable of in his heydays.
