Sac bee, is reporting that the Raiders have intentions of using Darren McFadden as a wide receiver. I could see it for a few trick plays here and there, and anyone could make the argument that the Raiders are over stocked in running backs. To many good players at one position and not enough balls to go around.

  1. Darren McFadden
  2. Justin Fargas
  3. LaMont Jordan

All good backs, and they will use them all, but trying to get two on the feild at the same time consistently is the problem.

What do you guy's thing?

  1. Darren McFadden
  2. Justin Fargas
  3. Forgot .....  Michael Bush
  4. LaMont Jordan

Make that 4 good running backs, and one ball.

Darren McFadden, RB OAK

News: According to the Sacramento Bee, Raiders rookie RB Darren McFadden could line up at wide receiver or tailback. He also could be used in the backfield with Justin Fargas, the starting tailback at the end of last season. Coach Lane Kiffin's greatest success at USC came when he had two very different running backs – Reggie Bush, who could play all over the field, and LenDale White, who could batter opponents. Kiffin won't be able to see how Fargas, McFadden and Michael Bush work together this weekend at the team's minicamp, but McFadden already likes how the coach has rotated backs. "I feel it's something I can bring to Oakland, being a versatile player, that I can move around and give them a different style," McFadden said.

He will be on the field at all times sort of like how Bush was at USC. He will start out only getting 10-15 carries a game Ala AP then more when he is productive.

Im guessing at first DMC 10-15 carries  Fargas 10-15 carries Bush 5 Carries (Around red zone)

But Fargas will recieve many screens and dumps out of the backfield just like bush at USC and we can line up 2 backs in the backfield and use motions like WVU we could fake to Fargas then to DMC or vice Versa.

We are going to have a strong running game this year which will take the pressure off Jamarcus

I think Al Davis made the wrong move drafting another running back. The Raiders need an O-line to protect all of those skill players that they have invested in.

Mancini, So you think Kiffin will change his style of last year. He was a one back guy. It rotated from game to game with injuries and the hot hand, but in a given game, he devoted to one back. That's why they were all so mad.
