He def is the fastest player on offense so its worth a shot, but i would stil have him at rb 80% of the time, the rest at WR n some direct snaps at QB

Similar to Mcfadden If bush doesnt produce this year at RB the Saints on the other hand should line him up a WR permently , he runs good routes for a rb.....i seen his pro day

Everything about his skillset and physique scream WR. Although because he's never played it full time and will be extremely unpolished he will be a backup. He's a taller Reggie, only w/o the agility and shiftiness.

DMC lacks agility but he has excelleration that cant be matched in the NFL. His burst through the hole is what sets him apart. In the ZBS that Tom Cable has implemented in Oakland I wouldnt be suprised at all to see McFadden have a fantastic rookie campaign.

As for improving the O-line higher picks dont amount to anything with the ZBS. The Broncos drafted one player in the first round for the ZBS and he got traded to Detroit. Its all about development, and since Oaklands line grasped it so well in its first year, we could see another huge step forward, even with minimal additions. Last year after our line had given up 72 sacks the year before it only gave up 40 something this past season. A huge improvement and another season should help them enough to truly understand the system and dominate.

DMC can be used anywhere, his physique allows him to get up to the ball and out jump other players. Not only that but he can run it in between the tackles as he was mainly used for that at Arkansas. I can see him having a dominate career in the NFL if Oakland keeps Tom Cable and the ZBS system, having stability at H/C, and staying healthy.

way to not understand football schemes. the talk that you are talking about is exactly what the Saints do with Reggie Bush. they line him up in the slot so the defense needs to use a CB, then you have two LB trying to take on duce mcallister, duce is gonna win. oakland wants to do the same thing with Dmac and Justin Fargas. both dmac and bush will still get carries and will line up at RB the vast majority of the time, but at WR they will be a decoy

I could see this happening. I got to see Darren Macfadden enough at Arkansas playing against LSU. He is a very athletic player with many attributes. Putting him at WR could open the field a bit. He's the kind of player that will make an imediate impact for he Raiders. Hope you guys find a better way to utilize him faster than the Saints did with Reggie Bush. They are the same type of player, though if you ask me, DMAC scares me more than Reggie.

he do not need to line up at wide reciever, put him at running back 99.9%0f the time and give him the rock 20-25 carries and watch him be the next eric dickerson.

Mcfadden will be a threat where ever u put him.  Once he has the ball in his hands hes like a freight train, and he loves go right at the defenders and pushing them out of the way.  He will have an impact as long as they dont have him on the bench.
