They better overpay to get Tom Thibadeau here to teach the Knicks some defense. That's the only way this will work along with getting better players. Maybe the Knicks will be better offensively but it's no guarantee with this group. Walsh's first hire as a Knick is very suspect. His GM hire better be great.

why would thibadeau leave a great situation for a lateral move. I could see if they wanted him as a head coach, He might be hired as a head coach somewhere else anyways
