Kudos to Greg Maddux on reaching his 350th career victory. My wish is that it could have come in the uniform of the Chicago Cubs.

Classy man, classy act.  I sincerely hope that he will be able to go into the HOF wearing a Cubs hat.

As much as I'd wish for that to happen...he needs to go in as a Brave...that's where he was his best and made a name for himself as the best pitcher in baseball

Congratulations to one of the greatest pitchers to ever play the game.  Being a product from Chicago's farm system is icing on the cake.

Always love to watch Greg Madduux on the mound.  Not the most physicallly talented guy, but no one who ever played was smarter or more precise with his pitches.  Shame on the Cubs for ever letting him go to the Braves.  Way to go Greg!!

Now everyone, Smoltz, Glavine and Maddux are all presumed to be future HOF'ers, what do you suppose the chances are that they beat "Needles" Clemens into the HOF?

Mad Dog is one of my favorite players ever. And to see his long success just makes me "giggly". It would be great to see him go to the HOF in a Cubs hat, but it's going to be a Braves.

Greg Maddux is my all time favorite pitcher.  I even named my dog after him.  He will go down as the best pitcher in baseball during an era that included steroids and Roger Clemens.  I alsi wish the Cubs could get this guy back as he would bolster the rotation and be a positive influence on our young pitchers.

17 consecutive seasons of 15 or more wins is amazing!!  And from '87 through '07 he only had 2 seasons where his win/loss record was under .500.  The guy is phenomenal and he did it without any PED's.

I hope he pitches another 3 or 4 seasons.  There's no reason for him to hang it up yet...he's made over 30 starts every year but 2 in that same time frame (one year was the strike year of '94) so health is not an issue.

Congratulations to my favorite pitcher of all-time as well and hopefully we're still watching him pitch in 2010...I almost typed "watching him pitch with success in 2010" but then I realized how riciculous it sounded.

Keep going Maddux!!!  Cooperstown will have to do without you another couple years.
