Hey, the boys were doing great for a while. This is just a rough spot. Maybe a day off will help and things will pick up Tuesday.

Go Blue!!

I hope so.  After tonights game I need a day off too!  We went from a no hitter thru 6 2/3 to a beat down in the 8th.  We have some tough series coming up with the Angels and the Mets.  Hopefully we can do well and maybe sweep the Reds!  Go Blue!

Very disappointing that they got swept by the Astros. I know the Astros were hot...but look at the pitching match ups. No excuse for this one.

And with the Cubs sweeping the Diamondbacks......its just depressing.

But its baseball.

Strange things happen in baseball. LA's momentum was wiped out. The one that stung though was going from a no-no bid by Hideki Kuroda to giving up 6 runs in the 8th to lose the game. Ouch!

We need to turn it back around and get that Dodger Blue mojo working again.

I had extremely high hopes for this weekend.  I figured it would be a good series between the D'backs and the Cubs...and it certainly was from a Dodgers fan perspective.  I couldn't have hoped for anything better than the Cubs sweeping.  If you would have told me that at the beginning of the weekend, I definitely would have thought that we could have picked up at least 2 games on them due to that....but to be swept, at home, to the Astros, really hurts.  Indeed, the last game hurt the worst because the bats were finally looking like they were waking up and Kuroda was pitching an absolute great game.  Letting the game slip away like that is hard to take.  But, such is the way of a fan of the Dodgers it seems.  Inconsistency kills.  Time to take the day off and hope that Milwaukee will bring us some wins....as long as our top 3 come back and pitch the way the top 3 pitchers in a rotation should.  Then it should be a great series "away" against the Angels over the weekend.  Hoping the bats catch fire in Milwaukee along with the pitching to carry them over to Anaheim for a sweep.....how sweet would that be?!
