You've earned it.  I don't think Lakers can beat you with a hurt Kobe.   Our time has come.    I think your team can do it vs Hornets or Spurs.
Represent the West for all of us!

Thanks for the recognition, but Kobe is still Kobe. He put up thirty on us yesterday and he was hurt from the second play of the game. I thought he was pretty selfish in the 4th when Lamar and Fish were hot he still took a couple of contested threes that had no chance. He should have dished it to one of those two. If his back slows him down enough for AK to be effective the Jazz have a chance in LA. We still need Booze to bust out of the slump tho.

I'm rooting for the Hornets in their series because if we make it past the Lakers I like our chances against them the best. The Jazz have to win one on the road in every series and we haven't won in SA for too long.

What is Kobe's injury and do we know if he will be back by game 5. How serious is this injury?

It's the pivotal Game 5, and more than likely Kobe Bryant will be suiting up for the Lakers. So just as long the Jazz did what they did in Game 4 banging him around alittle bit then I like Utah's chances in winning in LA.

Beevillian,

Stop scamming!  You know that the Lakers aren't done yet.  This series is far from over.  I'm positive this will go 7 games and D-Fish and Pau Gasol will do what they do.  I'm hoping that game 7 goes overtime and we win on your court in front of your fans.  Maybe that will shut everyone up about our road "woes".

villian, I'm sure you are just planting a seed so you can say that you "called it" if the Jazz beat your Lakers.  You as a fan just don't want to feel the defeat.  By starting this thread, you don't have to make excuses if the Lakers don't advance.  I have too much respect for the Jazz to do the same; I also respect the Lakers enough not to count them out (just can't stand Kobe; the same way I can't stand Manu Ginobili of the Spurs...it's a rivalry thing).

I agree! The Lakers are the Lakers . . . and Kobe is the MVP!!!

Don't count the Lakers out until the clock says zero and the series is over one way or the other.

Kobe will play, and he'll be ready. Will he be 100% only he knows, and we'll all find out. He will bring the best game he has in an attempt to throw the pressure back onto the Jazz to go home and win again. This is a tightly contested series, and one that should go down in the history of the NBA . . .

I like the Jazz's chances here, but they need to play a complete game in LA . . . . keep focused, one game at a time. And for heavens sake, play some D on Kobe!!!

Go Jazz!!!

I do believe the Lakers can come out of this series if boozer doesn't start playing more consistently throughout the game.
