If the Pats get away with the penalty that they have been given. Most everyone on any sports channel today seems very surprised how detailed this all is. You have to be stupid to not think this gave them a very big advantage in game. This is not about preparing for the next time, this is advantageous for the game being played. Belechick tries to say there was minimal help in the tapes. That statement just shows you what a piece of crap this guy is. Anything they have done is tarnished now...period! You Pats fans can believe all you want, your team cheated, and cheated badly.

Pats fans excuse will be that "we're not the only team doing it", which is probably the case, but how many other teams have won 3 super bowls in the last seven years. And let's be honest, with the technology advances in the last 7-10 years, taping team signs can be way more help DURING the game then any other time in the history of the NFL.

Agreed. They have probably been doing this for years. This is just the first time they were caught. Belechick saying is was minimal help doesn't prove he is just a piece of crap, it proves that he is a lying piece of crap. Nothing worse than a cheater that gets caught red-handed and then tries to explain it away as no big deal. What scum!

Since Billacheat has admitted to taping since 2000 and the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2002 against the Rams did they tape the signals of the Rams from that earlier game they had on November 18th, 2001? So they had the signals of the Rams from 3 months earlier and used them to win that Super Bowl. This team is dirty, nasty and the biggest cheaters in NFL history.

If they cheated so badly since 2000 and as one jealous hater put it *dirty, nasty and the biggest cheaters in NFL history* why haven't they won every Super Bowl since 2000? You guys are a bunch of excuse makers for your teams. Little babies.

To anyone who says that this gave them a minimal advantage answer this, how do you justify a 5-11 team suddenly turn around into a "dynasty" THE SAME YEAR the cheating started, how do you explain how a garbage coach became a "genius" THE SAME YEAR the cheating started, how do you explain how an average quarterback at best becomes a pro bowl quarterback, THE SAME YEAR the cheating started, and how come in the only Super Bowl that they played in and didn't win is the SAME YEAR the cheating stopped?? It was a huge advantage for the Cheatriots, they won their Super Bowls by 3 points!!!! They should have to forfeit every game they have film on, taking away their "perfect" season from last year, and the Super Bowl in 2002 since they should have to forfeit the 2002 AFC Title game agains't Pittsburgh. The punishment has not yet fit the crime, and until that happens, no one will ever respect this time in football except for the cheatriot fans themselves
