Why do you think Dwight Freeney's sack numbers went down after his breakout season? And why do you think Robert Mathis start to put up Dwight's former numbers? It's all about having someone else on the line to account for.

The Raiders haven't had that, Glenn Dorsey would have been a great person to counter Derrick Burgess's pass rush. The 16 sacks Burgess got two years ago was by no means luck, It was a showcase of great talent. This year, we've signed a bunch of under-performing DE's and We'll see where that goes. Derrick Burgess will continue to be doubled which will continue to frustrate him. He might leave if this continues to happen.

Ya  I do know about the DL. I also said Id keep Burgess rather than trade him so take a hike with that argument.

Its MY OPINION that Burgess IS NOT the best DL on the team...big fcking deal.

Chris Clemons got sacks as a situational pass rusher, period. He wasnt a starter, sorry to inform you. If Burgess was all that, why did the starter, Jay Richardson, only have one sack? Oh lemme guess, because he sucks right? Whatever. Situational guys have one job to do. I like DBurg, but Id rather have TKelly, William Joseph, or Big Turd Sands if he plays up to potential. Its my opinion and if either of you come at me like that again Ill bring it like the AHole I am. Especially you, ginga_fck. I havent liked you from day one. I never said he should improve on it, I said he hasnt even come close to that spectacular season. Not only that, it was the one and only season he went off like that. Its called a flash in the pan...a one year wonder. He didnt do anything spectacular before or after his 1st year in Oakland, yet is our best DL? Thats a matter of opinion, "bro"

I also said not to trade him because if hes going to have a good/great season again, now is the time being a contract year, remember that part?

I disagree.  He is definitely above average as a pass rusher and underrated against the run (he''s no Reggie White but he doesn't suck).

Agreed, but not every player has to be a teacher and he still has some skills.

I'm just saying if a guy is cheap and still productive and there isn't a replacement on the roster for his skill set (which I don't believe their is - at least not at that skill level) then there's no way you trade him.
