You're kidding me right ?

http://suathletics.com/News/basketball/mbasket/2008/5/16/crouthamelnacdahall.asp?path=mbasket

The most visible changes in Crouthamel's era came in grounds and facilities. It started with the Carrier Dome in 1980, which soon became one of the most recognizable athletic facilities in the country.

Yes, because a hall of fame athletic director would have decided to go with a facility that hosts football and basketball. It is recognizable but it make Syracuse University look cheap.

... an athletic director that didn't fire Paul Pasqualoni (not that hiring Robinson was any better) failed to bring in a good womens basketball coach (which Gross did) and fail to get a decent looking football turf in the Carrier Dome.

Now tell me again other than helping to form the Big East and hiring Jim Boeheim to coach the basketball team, why he should be inducted to the "hall of fame".

I think Gross has done a better job than Crouthamel did.

See mike now this is why we do not agree. In my opinion a lot our teams have taken a step back since Dr. Gross came in. The most prominent 2 being the basketball team and lets not forget the debalacle of a football team.

The football program was on it's way down before Gross even got there. The basketball team will be great next year.

Look I'm not an advocate for Pasqualoni, but he was a hell of a lot better than Robinson. And it was Dr. Gross who was responsible for the current mess now.
