Looks like it's going to be Reggie Geary.  I was convinced it was going to be Wyking Jones because of his connection to the AAU circuit and his ties to west coast recruiting, but I was wrong.  Damn...  Geary is currently a head coach in the NBA Development League, so he is bringing some coaching experience to the table that he didn't have years ago when he was passed over in favor of Simon.  Guess we'll have to trust that Olson knows best in this case.

Looks like Lute is staying in the family. Good to see Geary, who was a stout defender coming back to McKale. Maybe he can turn up the defensive intensity in the way that KO was SUPPOSED to.

This is a solid staff with NBA connections, not the doom and gloom scenario so many people were projecting. In a way this is a message to recruits that playing for Arizona will give those talented enough the opportunity to step up to the next level. At times I've heard UofA referred to as Guard U. Having two assistants with recent NBA experience (I'll count the developmental league since it's related) shows that players will get an honest evaluation not pie in the sky.

I just hope that Fogg shoots as well as you've described Hosh.
