I think the reason the Pens have lost is excellent defensive work by Zetterberg on Crosby and other players on our big players. We have let up some pour goals and some we should have scored on.

I want to here what you think about this series.

Let's Go Pens

I am a bit surprised at this series, I am not going to lie.  I thought it would be a closer series than it is.  As a Red Wings fan, I was very excited to play the Penguins because of how well they were doing in the earlier rounds in the East.  I think you are right about the Red Wings players doing great defensively.  I think that experience might win over youth/hunger this year.

I feel bad for the Penguins but I also remember how the Red Wings felt in 1995 after getting swept by the Devils in the Finals.  But we learned and came back hard after that.  I think that the Penguins have a great future, but as they have been saying, they may have to lose before they win.

One thing I am shocked about is the way Sidney Crosby is handling himself.  I have yet to hear him say anything about the Red Wings play great and that being some, if not all, of the reason they are up 2-0 in the series.  What happened to being good sportsmen?  Crosby needs to watch how he acts and what he says.  The NHL has dubbed him the new face of the NHL and the next Wayne Gretzky.  Has it all gone to his head a bit??  Or is it the fact that he is leading the team at a young age?  I don't know, but I think he should give the Red Wings some credit for the great defense they are playing.
