The pitiful collection of massicists who call themselves Cubs fans must be hurting right now?  This is just not normal, is it?  I'd expect a major implosion sometime soon, and then Cubs fans can be relieved, so as to go back to their usual pain-worshipping.  I can see it now --Zombrano punches a catcher, then the catcher punches Lou Piniatta, and Piniatta punches an umpire, the umpire hits a batboy, the batboy throws a bat and hits a beer vendor, and.....

Just for clarification.

By 'massicists' he meant masochists.

By 'Zombrano' he meant Carlos Zambrano.

And by 'Lou Piniatta' he meant Lou Piniella.

You are absolutely right.  We could implode.  We have done it in the past.  Baseball is a fickle sport.  Injury to a player or two and things might change.  For those of you who are supersticious, maybe a black goat crosses under a ladder and we get "cursed".  But for now, this is great to watch.  I am possibly having nearly as much fun watching the Cubs win as they are doing it.  Go Cubs Go.  This is exciting, for however long it lasts-hopefully the whole season.  Oh, and I don't consider it "Masochistic", I consider it loyal.  You should understand that.  You are a Packers fan like me.  Oh wait, maybe I am masochistic.

This is really not worth much of a response.  This thread was posted by a Brewers fan...I forgot about the rich history of success the Brewers have. (Note for Brewer fans: The italic sentence is to be taken in a sarcastic tone.  Didn't want you to misinterpret).

Go Cubs!!

Oh well, Mr. Blowhard...hmm...let's see?  The Brewers have been in the World Series, at least one-more-time than the Cubs in the last 30 years.  Honestly, the thing that I really dislike about the Cubs, the most, is their fans'-attitiudes."  (Note, that I did not say "their fans.")  I love to listen to "The Score," and hear you Cub fans continually pencil yourselves into the World Series --then never even get close to getting there.
