Man am i going through football withdrawl. I know alot of other people are too. so this is an open thread to talk about whatever football related thing you want to.

first off, whos everyones favorite team and how do you think they did this offseason?
My fav is the Titans, and ima little upset that they didnt pick up that big name reciever but other than that im excited for the season to start

OK tyrant, my favorite team is the Rams. They did OK in the off season, I just hope everybody heals up in time for the regular season. Maybe we can get into the playoffs, being in what I consider the weakest conference. If the O line can keep Bulger off his arse, we will be fine.

as a Bills fan i am very pleased with the off-season/draft additions.. am looking forward to Trent Edwards in his second.. first as full time starter.. he really showed promise with his poise/leadership and ball management..i.e. not holding on to long and finding his checkdown reciever.. marshawn marshawn Marshawn Lynch looks to be a young and upcomming stud RB heading into his second year.. James Hardy was the top WR on my board so was very pleased he was the bills pick.. between the additions the returning players from IR and more experience for the younger guys.. play-offs are not out of the picture.. heck it will probally be a bust of a season for me if they fall short (baring injuries of coarse)

ssboy, the Rams could have been a powerhouse if Steven Jackson didnt get hurt last year. i believe that the rams are getting old but i believe they have a couple more years left to contend for a legit playoff spot in the NFC

as a Patriots fan, they haven't done too much this offseason. signing moss long term was a big thing, but that's about it. got a feeling this year they'll put up 50+ points a game, but give up 40+ points on defense. they have a good defensive line, but i don't know if the elders can handle the linebacker corps this year. they didn't really do much of anything to help out the cornerbacks. well, they do have a weak schedule. they play the afc west and nfc west. i guess we'll see what happens.
