this is where the Tigers start their turnaround, we should win every series in interleague play, look for the tigers to be above or at 500 by the all star break.
i was very excited when we swept the yanks, i believe it put us at 14-16 and I thought we were going to turn the corner and start rolling. Next thing I know the Twins sweep us and the Redsox took 3 out of 4 from us. So I am aprehensively excited right now, think I am still on the redwings high!!!!!
I agree I believe this is the start of a turn around for the team. They seem to be getting their swagger back. As someone in another post pointed out there have been sweeps early this year but the difference about this one was the Tiger pitching. In the other sweeps they were slug fests it looks like our startinig pitching is coming around.
All we need is our strong pitching to come and show up for us because we can easily bring in the runs. Are pitching prospects are what we need with Armardo Gallaraga and Eddie Bonnie both are our farm league pitchers who have showed up to pitch for us.
But, I still would like to see if they can take 2 out of 3 in this next series. They had a long trip out west and that could effect how they perform. If they do well in this series I would be convinced they are focused on turning things around.
The 2 series sweeps are great and all, but they still have a lot of work to do.
mpsvsu.....Interesting to note all the new (or returning) posters, huh? You better add some more seats in the Tiger bandwagon - things will get even more crowded if they win Monday.
Tell the newbie above you that "Armando Galarraga" is not from our farm system and that "Eddie Bonine" is a Rule V minor league draftee.
What are seats in the bandwagon running these days?
Tigers Turnaround... Don't tease me... I'm with mpsvsu, we are getting a little ahead of ourselves.
Iffy - why are you always so concerned with the "bandwagon" fans. I'm good with the new posters, gives me something else to read, instead of your constant negativity. Bandwagon seats are still available, come one, come all. Just stay out of the way when it comes to playoff tickets, now I'm getting WAY ahead of myself...
