I don't know if this is the correct forum to vent, but i am increasingly frustrated be Dick Enberg's asinine and repetitive comments on...."four points from the Championship'....."two points from the final"....etc....which are ridiculous. Mary Carillo, and John Mc in particular, having been there, must cringe.
Tonight, when Jelena J was leading 4-3, 30-15, he calls her "six points from the second set." FORTY TWO points later she had lost set, match, championship.
Saying someone is serving for the match.....or has the match on his racquet is fine.....but leave the mathematical absurdities out of it. I appreciate McInroe saying...."this point is critical"..... at 4-5, 30 all, but Dick E is a joke.
