Someone posted this on an MLB General Thread...

Tony Gwyn Jr. for Sean Gallagher  ...check him out

Some Quick Numbers:
Solid but Will Def. Improve

4.54 ERA....better than some of the Brewers right now
3-3...decent .500
Only 22 years old
Born in Boston...so he has to be a real PASSIONATE baseball player

Sometimes you gotta make risky moves...and this is one that I would make

Trade Cameron for Gallagher, save some salary and get rid of the guy who is still on pace to break the major league strikeout record if it wasn't for his suspension.  cameron sucks, give Gwynn a chance to start for 3 weeks and see if he is capable of sucking as bad as Cameron.

So long as the Brewers are in contention and see their chief opposition as the Cubs, it's hard to see either team being very eager to trade with each other.

Um...no

Sean Gallagher > >> >> Tony Gwynn Jr.

Now that's not to say that the Cubs won't trade Gallagher, but if we did, he'd be the centerpiece of a deal for a bigtime starter (ala C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, Joe Blanton etc) not a AAA outfielder who hasn't even really outpreformed Felix Pie.

When you're trying to trade with the team with the best record in baseball, they typically aren't going to trade someone they need (4/5 starter) for someone that would end up in AAA (or actually for the Cubs he'd be in AA)

in case you guys havn't been paying attention, edmonds is really working out... we have no need for gwynn, hall, or cameron while gallagher's success has been essential due to the disappointment of Rich Hill this season... if you think a trade like this could happen, you're fooling yourselves.

HAHA...you Cubs fans make me laugh...Jim Edmands is "working out"....okay...ill talk to you in 2 weeks...or i mean 1 week

Anyways the reason i started this was because someone said this on the MLB Trade Rumors Thread...obviously...not a fair trade-just curious
