Cougar, are you serious? That error happened in the first inning. They had 9 full innings to get over it. Which in my opinion they did by scoring 4 runs. Its not like Z didn't give up 4 on his own. Or we left runners on base a few times. Bases loaded and no outs and get only 1? Come on, these are big leaguers they probably don't even remember DeRosa's error in the first inning. Bad cop out for a team that just flat out got beat tonight.
Gah I think tomorrow your looking at your first 3 game losing streak and a sweep by Tampa hope I'm wrong but I just had a bad feeling if we didn't win tonight we weren't going to win at all. Then we get the White Sox's which is not good news the only good news is we will be at home where we are amazing this year. One things for sure I'm so glad after tomorrow we don't play Tampa ever again unless it's the World Series lol yea right Tampa v Chicago world series hell would have to freeze over for that to happen.
Well the Cardinals lose again to the Royals sign that they might be on the down slide? They certainly could use Pujols back. Dangit though Cubs missed a golden opportunities to extend there lead on the Cards.
Don't look now but the Brewers are 6.5 back now after falling all the way to 8.5 behind I still think they are our biggest competition even though I'm hanging and hoping that Ned Yost will be there ultimate downfall!!!!!!
Everyone was up in arms about Soriano's error in Pittsburgh. DeRosa makes a horrible error that lets in a run that ends up being the difference in the game, but where is the criticism?
The difference is about 234 (games played in the outfield). In the past three seasons (to date) Soriano has played over 200 more games in the outfield than DeRosa. Both plays should have been made (no excuses) but one guy is a super-sub, playing a different position everyday, and the other is making his living out there in left.

Nevermind that Soriano was originally a second baseman? Nevermind that this is only Soriano's third season, two interrupted by injury, playing the position?
