Texton,
When you come down, you'll have to explain to me how we got stuck with the Jorts and mullets tag. I have been to Tally as well as the rest of the Panhandle, and truth be told, for the most part, they are just glorified L.A. (lower Alabama) rednecks. I have never seen so many wife beaters, jorts, box chevies and Camaros, LA Gear shoes, and mullets. I call it the trickle down effect; they trickle down towards the beach. We may have those unsavory types in the surrounding communities, but for the most part, we have the south Florida hotties, Tampa beauties, and Orlando princesses. I haven't really seen jorts on a real Gator guy since the mid-90s when it was okay to wear them.
Not that I am offended by the stereotype, I just don't get how we got stuck with it.
And on another note, be safe in Burkha-ville. Don't want some left-handed-butt-wiper (PM for an explanation) popping one in your rump from a mile away. When do you ship out?
