Though there's no doubt you can make a case for Ramirez, I still think you have to go with Rodriguez...and my reasoning is that 1) Rodriguez will the be the one with over 700 HR's, 3,000 hits, 2,000 RBI's, and potentially a career .300 average and going along with his 2 gold gloves (or potentially more)...Ramirez might get 500 HR's, maybe 2500 hits or more, and maybe a .290 career average if he's really lucky and consistent
While I love Ramirez being a Cubs fan, with the bat there's not much comparison career wise...while Ramirez has a good glove, his arm is terrible...he would have a ton of errors |
