I cannot say that I am surprised by this. Guthrie is coming off his best start of the year, and Marshall is fresh up from Iowa. His MO has always been that he can pitch well for 4-5 innings and then he either runs out of gas or teams figure him out. He looked pretty good tonight, gave up a couple of big hits but overall not bad. Our worst pitcher, and their best, and we were not going to win every game. I hate to be a naysayer but I don't need to see much more of this game. I don't see us scoring more than another run tonight.
