How many people do they need to run a pre-game show. I can't even watch these things anymore, they are so scripted it's not even funny. I wonder who ESPN is going to hire to respond to Fox's big signing? Who gives a shit!

I do not mind retired players being on the pre-game shows, which I watch religiously, but I think they should make sure they aren't just a name on the show and not wasting air time.  Some of the ESPN analysts for various sports should never been on screen.  I'm sure they have a great knowledge of their sport, but it doesn't show through on camera.  GO Vikings!

I agree with HawksCubsVikes. Some former players should not be on TV but I think Strahan will add some good insight. I think he will be similar to Sharpe on CBS, adding some insight from the players' point of view while being entertaining and funny. And why would ESPN need to respond? It's not like they will be playing each other and ESPN needs someone to stop Strahan from rushing the QB
