I'm talking rotation, bullpen, closers. The whole team.

If you wanted to pick Atlanta, sorry, I ran out of spaces.

Of course I'll pick Oakland for their low ERA and hits allowed.

ya, the As have a tough staff.  But the D-Backs have the best 1-2 punch, with Webb and Haren.

Actually I think the A's and Jay's 1-2 punch is just as good as any team in baseball.

Harden and Durcherer are fantastic... when Harden is healthy of course. Durcherer is still coming into his own but he looks like he's the real deal.

Halladay and Marcum are also top notch. Halladay is always a Cy Young contender and Marcum is very consistent for a young pitcher and has one of the nastiest changeups in the game.

The White Sox have also surprised me this year with their pitching staff.  Floyd and Danks are really coming into their own.

I would say that overall, the Jays probably have the best entire pitching staff. They have a top 3 rotation in baseball and an extremely solid bullpen. The worst starter on the team right now is AJ Burnett who just pitched 8 innings of 4 hit 1 run ball last night. Not too shabby.

The A's are definitely turning some heads with their rotation. The Haren deal was amazing for them. Chad Gaudin would be the 3rd or 4th starter on many teams, yet he can't even make this rotation with, I believe a sub 4 ERA. Speaks volumes about the talent level on this team.

Entire staff, I'd have to go with the Blue Jays.  All 5 starters are pretty good with a solid bullpen as well.  Of course their offense is one of the worst.

I would go with the A's or Blue Jays

I would take the A's here in a heartbeat, top to bottom they have the best staff... Harden and Duke look awesome, Eveland and Smith have done well to post sub-4 ERA's, Blanton is the only weak-spot in the rotation, and he showed he is capable of pitching very well last night. Santiago Casilla, Joey Devine, Alan Embree, Keithe Foulke, Chad Gaudin, (when healthy) have been a major strenth for the A's. Closer Huston Street has not been fantastic, but is getting the job done.

If Blanton and Burnett cancel each other out with their high ERA's, McGowan is still posting a 4.21, and Litsch a 3.99; while Eveland and Smith are posting sub 4 ERAs. Halladay is great, but Rich Harden and Justin Duchscherer have both been "Ace" pitchers this year. IMO the A's have the best 1-2 punch in the league, but both pitchers need to show they can maintain their momentum, before they can be recognized for it...
