This Dewayne Wise has been a pleasant surprise so far. 8-22.364. Plus he has speed and is left-handed, which is what we need. I think this makes Owens expandable and possibly involved in a trade at some point. On Whitesox.com there are talking about Ozuna or Uribe being removed from the roster, but what about Anderson? He could be sent down right? I like Anderson, but seems like we will be overstocked in the outfield, and he is struggling. We need Ozuna to be able to fill in for Crede and Uribe has done a fine job pinch hitting so far. I still believe someone will need Uribe down the stretch and we can get something for him. Great job Buehrle and Dye is red hot. I am stoked I will be at the game tonite and get to see Gavin for the first time.

LETS GO White Sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not knowing who to send down is a good problem to have.  If it were an easy decision, then that would indicate that someone is struggling.

Personally, I hope the Sox can find a home for Uribe.  It doesn't make sense having that salary just sitting on our bench.

If Juan Uribe can play 3rd, I'm all for DFA-ing Pablo, the guy is crap at 3rd base and he just throws the bat at ever pitch he see's, the very least you can say about Uribe is that there's a chance the ball will get over the fence.

tre3ke11y,

Where are you sitting?  I will also be at the game.  I'll be sitting FLD 22, Row L, behind the Sox dugout on the first base side.

Hopefully Gavin pitches well tonight - also my first time seeing him live.

Dewayne Wise = Fast

may be a bad base runner though.

When Pablo got thrown out at home, on the groundball to third (Doesn't that seem to happen to the W. sox more than other teams) Wise did not advance to third.

So, the Sox went from 2nd and 3rd and no outs, to 1st and 2nd with 1 out and the pitcher coming to the plate.

I don't recall the situation, but I remember seeing another baserunning blunder his first stay with the Sox.

Small sample size, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt, he has put the bat on the ball pretty well this time.
