Ok - so Eli didnt earn a stop in the top 50 after his amazing play toward the end of season and his obvious beating of Brady. Manning out-played Brady in the biggest game of the year and he didnt make the top 50?

I would keep Brady at #1 - he had a stellar year and since Moss is back - they will only get better but come on Prisco. Manning matured and grew as the season went on and eventually won the Super Bowl.

I am shocked - he didnt even make the "Just missed" list.

Because he got hot at the right time, this isn't a "what did you do in the playoffs" list. Rivers had better numbers then Manning and better career numbers to go along with a much better record. So if your gonna try and put Manning on this list(he in no way shape or form belongs) then Rivers has to go above him.

I wouldn't of put Eli on it either. I'm sure most non-Giants fan wouldn't put Eli there too. He got hot (not really hot, but played good enough to win) Without the defense they'd be gone and everyone would want Eli's head. In an individual analysis, Eli doesn't make the cut.

You know, I can't stand you New Yorkers.... Yankees, Giants, etc. (not the people... I really respect you, just hate your teams)

BUT... Eli, just took his team to the SUPERBOWL and WON IT!

he's young and getting better, and scares the crap out of me. He reminds me of Aikman in that he just does whatever it takes to win. Forget the stats... Just win baby!!!

As a Cowboys fan, I HOPE that was just a 1 year wonder last year, otherwise he'll be in the top 10 net year.

Not to split hairs or anything, but Manning didn't win the Superbowl for the Giants.  The Giants front 4 won the Superbowl for the Giants.  It was sick what they did to the beloved, but even with what they did the Giants still needed that amazing catch to seal the deal.

Again congrats, but Eli, in my opinion is hardly top 50.

Something is wrong with this dude. He left Eli off this list plus Pro Bowl quarterback Tony Romo but Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, and Carson Palmer make it. He must be brain dead. I would take Manning or Romo either on my team over all three of those guys. Don't take Prisco serious about anything because after some of the things I have read on here that he has written, it is obvious he does not know as much about football as he thinks he does.

You make it sound like Brees, Palmer, Roethisberger are no good. All three are great quarterbacks. Romo is in there with them but he does have great talent around him. Eli on the other hand...I wouldn't take over the other guys.
