Campillo isn't messing around at the plate. His Avg. is higher than his ERA.

Yeah those Mexicans can do it all.  They never get tired.  He can hit, run the bases, and still have energy to pitch.  We need some more Mexicans on the team.

I like Jorge Campillo.  I got ripped earlier last week for mentioning that I like him better than Jo-Jo Reyes.  Jo-Jo is younger, but COMPARE THEIR NUMBERS THIS YEAR!

I know i'll get blasted but I would keep him in the rotation and if Hampton comes back I'd stick him in the pen.

He's paid his dues and knows how to pitch.

Campillo has been great.

As to Hampton...I'm not 100% i want him back. We don't have to pay his salary if he doesn't play and that money would definetly be useful for either resigning Tex or resigning that pitcher you know we're gonna get, or Frenchy in his arbitration hearing.

Really, would you rather pay 15 mil for a rent-a-year pitcher or keep it to help next season.

Dude, I think you are 100% wrong on this Hampton thing. We got like 5 million last year, and I don't think we get any this year regardless. You might be right, but look into it before you assume that there is any type of insurance coming the Braves way in any situation.

I think the insurance is partial.  This "we don't have to pay a dime" stuff is myth, but if he misses the whole year we can recoup some of his salary.

Danger,

I think the Braves only got like 5 million last year. The other thing is that he's not out for the year. There is a difference between being out after getting TJ surgery and have a pectoral injury. Like I said, I don't really know all the details, but I don't think the Braves can get
