We are getting close to the halfway point.

We have a lot of stinkers and wow teams, i will post the suprise teams in a minute.

I think this is a fair shake of teams who should be doing a lot better than they are. Managers fired, offenses are offensive.

Opinions please.

I will say Yankees only because they have so much to live up to, When you are a perennial favorite and are behind a couple teams that are not supposed to be there, wow.

Billions down the tank continues, this team is not a playoff contender, they are good against the lower class teams, but when they go head to head soon, it will be a bad time in New Yawk.

Mets are just disfunctional.

Why are Yankee fans so optimistic when they have no pitching and hate Moose?  Not to mention hating on Giambi but he is one reason the club is floating over 500.  Damon, same.

I will say Yankees only because they have so much to live up to, When you are a perennial favorite and are behind a couple teams that are not supposed to be there, wow.And yet, every year people say the same things at this point and they still make the playoffs. Are people calling the Patriots the most disappointing teams in football because they make it to the playoffs year after year. They've dominated the NFL for the last 4 years, only to have 0 championships.

Anyways, i voted the Indians. Here's why. They have had the best starting pitching in the AL. They play in a division where the teams are good, but are far from the top offenses, except for Detroit. And they were leading the division early on. Victor Martinez and Travis Hafner have been awful and their offense and bullpen isn't far behind. After being in the ALCS last year and 1 game away from the World Series, this is absolutely the most disappointing teams in all of baseball.

Billions down the tank continues, this team is not a playoff contender, they are good against the lower class teams, but when they go head to head soon, it will be a bad time in New Yawk.
I would say it is billions down the tank if they aren't still turning a profit which they are the best at. Also, how can you say that it will be bad times when they play the good teams?

They are a good 5-3 vs TB this year.
2-3 vs Boston
2-1 vs Oakland
2-1 vs CHW
2-2 vs Minn
4-5 vs Balt

AFter the Mets series they play 22 of 28 at home vs the Rangers, Red Sox, Rays, A's, Twins, Orioles, and Angles. In those 22 home games, if they go 15-7, which isn't that much to ask, they will be in perfect shape to make a run for the last 2 months. They also have a 3 game visit to Boston in the middle of that home stretch. i think when the trade deadline rolls around the Yankees will be right at the top or within a game of first place.

Why are Yankee fans so optimistic when they have no pitching and hate Moose?See I don't really want to back up the Yankees, but you are just being plain stupid here. Who hates Moose from yankee fans? There isn't a nicer guy that yankee fans couldn't be more proud of for what he has done this year, which was completely unexpected. He is liked by all. I don't know w here you get your info from, but it is obviously from some Yankee hater genie.

Secondly, what no pitching? Most teams do not have a good back end of the rotation in the AL. Boston doesn't. Tampa really doesn't. I mean, seriously. But I'll got the war with Joba and Pettitte leading the way till Wang comes back in September. You also have Moose who has been very effective. Also, don't be shocked when Hughes comes back and does what he did down the stretch of the season last year.

To say they have no pitching is once again a stupid comment. You obviously do not know anything about the Yankees and have pure hatred towards them. There is no reason to state a team that is 42-36 which is in the top 1/2 of best records in the AL be the most disappointing.

How bout Toronto? They are more disappointing than the Yankees. Mariners are. Indians and Tigers are. Mets are. Padres are. Rockies are. Braves are(but they have the injury excuse bigtime). I mean get real here.
